Manna Mountain is located near the village of Burcher and offers a broad view of the landscape which and has been a popular location with special significance for centuries.
Manna Mountain is a sacred site for the Wiradjuri people due to the scars left in the rocks from generations of Aboriginal people sharpening their axes which indicate that Manna Mountain has been
a popular location with special significance for centuries.
The area has barbecue and picnic facilities, walking tracks, and a recreated Aboriginal camping ground with billabong, campfires and gunyah huts. It is especially beautiful in spring.
It’s approximately 400m walk to the top of the mountain.
