Aboriginal Mural

41 Foster Street, Lake Cargelligo, New South Wales, 2672

The vibrant community mural in Lake Cargelligo is a must-see, located on the side of “Fisho’s Hotbake and Takeaway.” Created by local artists in collaboration with schools, businesses, and the Growing Lachlan initiative, the mural symbolises reconciliation and cultural unity.

Students from St. Francis Xavier and Lake Cargelligo Central School contributed ideas and design elements, learning painting techniques along the way. It’s a beautiful, lasting symbol of community collaboration and respect.
